There are few things more satisfying than
connecting someone with their past. As interest in Fernie increases so
does the number of people seeking out their connections to our
community. Requests for information are directed to the Society by the
Fernie Heritage Library, the Chamber of Commerce and City Hall, while
other people find us on their own.
We respond to a wide variety of questions and
requests and are always interested in helping people find out more
about the history of Fernie. Should you have any questions or
queries, please email us and we will see what we can do.
Email our curator Michael Pennock at
history@ferniemuseum.com
and he will do what he can for you.
We are usually able to provide information that we
have readily available at no cost, however as the Society receives no
ongoing operating funding of any sort from any level of government,
requests that require in-depth research or for those of a commercial
nature we do charge research fees on an hourly basis.
